About Us


B.A.S.E. Camp is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors which meets monthly to review financials, programs, policies and procedures.  Day-to-day administration and programs are managed by an Executive Director and senior leadership team who oversee a staff that includes up to 100 full and part-time employees.

The Board of Directors reviews and approves monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that include annual the IRS’ Federal Form 990 and an annual audited Financial Report for the preceding fiscal year.  The Board of Directors conducts annual reviews for the agency as a whole and the Executive Director, who in turn conducts annual reviews of her key staff members.

Agency policies and procedures are reviewed periodically to insure they are updated as necessary to meet changing federal, state, and county requirements.  The Board and Executive Director review past agency plans and meet at least every two years to develop strategic plans to guide the agency and its staff over the next two years.
