At B.A.S.E Camp we hire energetic and enthusiastic people who have a passion for working with children, a clear understanding about safety and the desire to continue to make BASE Camp the best Child Care experience for children and families in Fort Collins and the surrounding areas.
Colorado State Schoolage Licensing Requirements
Site Director - Schoolage Program Leader Qualified *Leadership and supervisory skills. Manages a before and after site.
Program Leader - at least 21 years of age and have one of the following: *A four year degree related to child care, recreation, social work, human development...
*2 years of college and 950 hours of documentable experience with groups (3 or more) of schoolagers since the time you turned 18.
*5260 hours of documentable experience with groups of schoolagers since the time you turned 18 and be willing to complete required coursework in the next 12 months.
Program Assistants - at least 18 years of age and have 520 hours of documentable experience with groups of schoolagers since the time you turned 18.
Program Aides - at least 16 and have a desire to work toward Program Assistant qualifications. Aides are hired when and where there is a need at a site for 3 or more staff.
Additional hiring information
In addition to the minimum age and experience requirements all staff must complete initial training and a personnel packet which includes fingerprinting and background check. Initial training includes New Staff Orientation, Universal Precautions and Child Abuse awareness training.
